Educational goals
This department teaches basic knowledge for machine design and
factory automation techniques. This knowledge is essential to
the various industrial fields in the 21st century, in particular
the globalization centered on North East Asia. It enables the
use of foreign technology in China and trains highly competent
people who can assume practical roles in industrial organizations
or research institutes within the machine, electronics, materials,
and automobile industries.
Operation plan and present conditions of work
*Type of complex and business practice education (Machine Design
Automation contract Education Team Teaching)
*Operate special society for scientific research (Automation,
car and windmill made by oneself) solar heating, direct return
way design, new materials)
*Creative development (actual practice of in and out country,
Internship system)
*Operate concerned research institute and practice factory of
campus (material research, limited company of YUST)
*15% study abroad (Seoul University, Pohang Engineering University,
Kungbook University etc.) and accession (Samsung CDMA, Pohang
Steel, Changan traffic transportation Wu Jinchang, company ofTianjin
LG, Present electron and SK). This department carries out research
work needed in Chinese industry related to material process, machine
measurement, and factory automation. The department works to develop
material and machine electronics systems, utilizing the laboratory
and its own research centersof material process, electronic material,
machine automation, machine measurement.
