1) Contact the supporters' association either in Seoul or the U.S. for more details.
2) Provide the required documents on your teaching experience and research
to the supporter's association.
3) The documents will be delivered to the Department of Human Resources at
YUST either by person or fax.
4) You will be informed about the final decision after your documents reviewed
by Academic Affairs Office, desired department, Personnel Committee, and President
Kim.
If you are accepted, the confirmation letter will be sent to you via the supporter's
association either from Seoul or the U.S.
5) You might be interviewed directly by President Kim if he is available at
that time.
Director Choi Zeng-Suk, Dr. Je Yang-Giu, and President Kim will interview
applicants in Seoul in person.
6) The following are required for the Z-visa (for foreign experts) application:
resume, copy of diploma, a copy of your passport, and 10 passport pictures.
If your family is coming with you, attach a copy of resident card (not for
a U.S. citizen) and passport, and 10 the passport pictures.
7) After receiving the foreign expert certificate and visa notice form from
Jilin Province, submit them to the Chinese Embassy in your country to get
a Z-visa to allow you to enter China.
8) The deadline for the spring semester is October, and April for fall semester.
9) If your application is late, but accepted by the department, you can enter
China with an L-visa (1 or 3 month visa for travelers), and change it into
a Z-visa in China.
