Truth - teaching both academic knowledge and about the principles of life.
To Chinese young people, who since China’s open-door reforms began are now living in
an ever-changing China, we offer and teach principles of life based on a holistic worldview of truth, together with scientific and technological education in accordance with this view.

Peace - A life of peace and cooperation with one’s peers.
Our aim is to cultivate leaders for the modern society, who promote genuine peace in this competitive
and complicated world.

Love - The practice of love and a life of service.
In an age which glorifies materialism and self-promotion, we aim to model a life of everyday service and
love for one’s neighbors.

Creativity
We aim to offer an education which provides opportunities for people to explore their various intelligences and develop their creativity.
Every student is encouraged to take part in one or more extracurricular activities by joining various student organizations; athletic, artistic, service-focused and academic.
All students can select computer science as a minor, so that the major will be built on a solid foundation of good English language and computer skills.

Cooperation
Dormitory living is mandatory for all freshmen, in order for them to benefit from the learning that takes
place in such a community.

Volunteer service
The Student Volunteer Organization has established programs through which all students have the opportunity to help poorer neighbors and contribute to the larger local community on weekends or during vacations.
