It's a system that help the students to develop their talents and abilities (self improvement and foreign language skills), and to help them to use their talents and abilities in the society (voluntary service and social experience). Once the students meet the standard of each field, they could sign up for the corresponding credits themselves and could be approved through evaluation.

     With the expansion of knowledge and the standardization of information, it is very important to train the students to design, prepare and challenge their future. This system is designed to help the students develop necessary skills, knowledge, spirit to design their future and contribute themselves to the society with the skills and ability.

     During the period of attendance each student could take up to 10 credits as elective course in liberal arts field including reading part, and they cannot take more than 4 credits from one field. As for reading, 1 credit is compulsory and one student can take up to 3 elective credits.

1. Procedure for self improvement and foreign language skills:
To review the possible cases of credit approval in every fields (student)
  • Submit the Credit Sign Up Sheet(refer to the form) attached with documented evidence to the Committee(Student, Fall Semester – by the end of November; Spring Semester – by the end of May)
  • Review the possibility of credit approval and credit numbers (Credit Bank Committee)
  • Final decision and application to the Office of Academic Affairs (Credit Bank Committee)
  • Check for the Credit Approval (Student)
  • 2. Procedure for voluntary service and social experience:
    To review the possible cases of credit approval in every fields (student)
  • Submit the Execution Plan to the committee (Student, should submit at least two weeks before the action)
  • Execution of the plan (Student)
  • Submit the Credit Sign Up Sheet(refer to the form), a report of the activity and documented evidence (if necessary) to the Committee를(Student, Fall Semester – by the end of November; Spring Semester – by the end of May)
  • Review the possibility of credit approval and credit numbers (Credit Bank Committee)
  • Final decision and application to the Office of Academic Affairs (Credit Bank Committee)
  • Check for the Credit Approval (Student)
  • 3. The materials should be made in required form, please refer to the forms in the last part of this document.
